Our season kick off was an amazing 5×0 win against Crystal Palace, followed by an outstanding 6×0 away victory over Aston Villa! That was a huge morale boost, that took over the players and staff. Game after game, minute after minute, goal after goal, we stood on top of the table for all of the first half of the season. To the delight of the fans, an 100% League performance. Conquering all the points disputed so far. With such performance, there is just too much to talk about, but I will leave to images!

With our current run, we are no over 100 undefeated matches in the Premier League! Our last defeat was against Brighton, in the 2014-15 season, on March 3rd. We are on a winning strike since May 15th 2016, as the previous result was a tie against Everton at the end of the 2015-16 season. On the Player Stats, we hold Leandro Damião with 13 goals scored and Pato  and Javier Hernandez with 12 goals. Followed then by Welbeck, Cardozo, Yarmolenko and Hazard all with 10 goals. The season is really going our way, with a great defensive stability, and showers of goals from the Brazilian’s.

Our series on the Championship League is also going the 100% way! Fantastic result against the Israelis at The Emirates Stadium! Qualifying in first place, we will now have the hard task to get past Real Madrid. I do believe we have enough depth and talent to continue challenging for the title!

As I have promised, the Carling Cup is being played by the reserve players, youngsters and less used players of the senior team. It’s a good way for them to keep shape, and a great experience for the youngsters. We had a lucky game against Tottenham, and thanks to Pato, who entered the game on second half, and gave us the tiying goal, and later we qualified through penalties. We will now face Blackpool for the Semi Final. On the other draw, Ipswich x Liverpool.

As usual, an image explains better than words. Great half season stats!
