I ended up signing only one more player, a young talented defender from Ghana on a free transfer. He was quickly sent of to defend Genk. One of my satelite clubs. A few other loaned out players concluded my preseason player movements. It was pretty intense when we talk about young lads out to get some experience! I am very interested on how they do this season, as on the next one, they should be tested more times on senior level.
We began the season conquering the Community Shield against Manchester United on a fully packed Wembley. I wasn’t going to post the game stats, but after taking a closer look at it, decided to do so. Check out the defensive prowess of my men, allowing MU to only three shots on goal, zero on target!
